About Us

We are The Paradigm Press Florida Atlantic University’s First Black Newspaper.

We were founded on March 1st 2020 by Kennedy McKinney, who currently serves as our President and Editor in Chief.

Our mission is to highlight and tell the stories of the Black community at Florida Atlantic University. We believe that our community needs more attention and we plan on being the voice for the black population.

We will cover student life, sports, culture, and entertainment and we will also address the problems black people face both on and off campus.

Why are we called The Paradigm Press? The definition of Paradigm is “a typical example or pattern of something; a model” and we believe that our paper and our community serves as a model for greatness.

We will report fair and unbiased news stories with our sole purpose being awareness and education about Black FAU.
